Odawa Institute Activities Paddling to Beaver Island Island Ceremonies

This year we paddled most of the way to Beaver Island, paddling against heavy head winds all day prevented anyone from taking pictures as we crossed. Here is our crew after ferrying back from the island. If you’d like any of the original pictures they are available in a downloadable zip folder pictures. While on the island we met with ten elders and participated in sunrise ceremonies at the stone circle. No pictures were taken at the ceremonies.
