Making Drums

We started the day fleshing buffalo hides and scraping hair from the other side. Through the day we also bent our own side rings. For a break everyone made custom drum sticks and lunch was served by Julie. She also made dinner for us since many were working on their projects until after 7pm. Many people decided who they were giving their completed project before they were done. It is tradition to give the first drum you make to someone else. If you’d like to download all of the originals use the zip file pictures.
